The AWInt is the direct successor company of the one-man business founded in 1920 by Rudolf Auer,
which was led as a sole proprietorship inscribed in the commercial register from 1949 on. Günter Auer took over in 1971.
In the course of its big expansion and the purchases it first became a KG (limited partnership business entity) before being converted into the Auer Waffel
International GmbH&CoKG.
